International Day of Peace is celebrated around the world to strengthen the ideals of peace, through observing 24 hours of non-violence and cease-fire. This day promotes global solidarity for building a peaceful and sustainable world. This year, the theme for the day is ‘Recovering Better for an Equitable and Sustainable World‘. In light of this, Envision Zimbabwe Women’s Trust together with its Peace Builders from various communities joins the World in honoring the day of Peace.
