We join the world in commemorating International Women’s Day today 8 March. Envision Zimbabwe Women’s Trust continues to work with women through training in conflict transformation, prevention of gender based violence, women’s rights, ending harmful practices against children as well as child marriages.
This year’s theme is Invest in Women : Accelerate Progress. According to UN Women “Investing in women and championing gender equality turbocharges a future where everyone in society can thrive, creating a world of boundless opportunity and empowerment for all.“
